By downloading, installing, or using the Arcana mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Arcana ("we", "us", "our"). We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the App following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
You may use Arcana without creating an account. An anonymous session is created automatically when you first open the App. Anonymous sessions store data locally on your device only.
You may optionally create an account using Sign in with Apple or email verification. By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

All content within Arcana — including but not limited to card artwork, illustrations, text, interpretations, design elements, icons, audio, and software — is the property of Arcana or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content within the App without our prior written consent. Your use of the App grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Arcana may offer premium features through in-app purchases and subscriptions. All payments are processed through Apple's App Store. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to Apple's terms of service for in-app purchases.

Arcana is designed for personal reflection, learning, and entertainment purposes only. The tarot card readings, interpretations, and content provided by the App are not intended to be and should not be taken as professional advice of any kind — including but not limited to medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice.
Tarot readings within Arcana are generated using traditional symbolism and algorithmic interpretation. They do not predict the future, diagnose conditions, or provide factual information about your circumstances. Always consult qualified professionals for matters requiring professional guidance.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Arcana and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.
You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings. Upon account deletion, your server-side data will be permanently removed. Local data on your device can be removed by uninstalling the App.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by updating the effective date below. Your continued use of Arcana after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
